This protein strawberry yogurt with fresh fruit is my favorite breakfast! I always eat dairy products in the morning because it consists a lot of calcium. Calcium accelerates weight loss by breaking down the fat from fat cells,  so that’s another benefit! That is of course not the only reason that I eat dairy products for breakfast, it also consists a lot of protein, it’s delicious and healthy. There are so many variations of this yogurt. You can add every kind of fruit you like and you can switch the protein powder for another flavor. This is the recipe for this strawberry flavor.

Protein strawberry yogurt with fresh fruit ingredients

  • 1 scoop (20 gram) strawberry protein powder
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat quark (low-fat cottage cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons chia seed
  • 2 tablespoons granola or muesli
  • 50 gram fresh blueberries
  • 10 gram coconut flakes
  • 10 gram dried apple
  • 10 gram dried banana

Protein strawberry yogurt with fresh fruit instructions

Put the yogurt, quark, protein powder and chia seeds into a bowl and mix till it’s blended. Let it rest for 10 minutes so the chia seeds can absorb. Now you can add the granola or muesli, I never mix it because I don’t want the granola to be soft, I like crunchy! Finally you can add the blueberries, coconut flakes, dried apple and banana.
