The most of you, including myself will drink a protein shake after your workout. But I think it’s really disgusting to mix your protein powder with a cup of water. It just tastes incredibly chemically and watery, so it’s not my choice! So I will give you another option to make a tasteful and easy protein shake. I also choose this time for raw cacao powder because it’s really healthy. Raw cacao powder is certainly very high in sulfur, antioxidant flavanoids and magnesium. The essential fatty acids found in cacao may help the body to raise good cholesterol and lower bad cholesterol. So that’s why it’s also healthy to eat a piece of pure chocolate every day, but don’t eat to much guys!!!

This recipe is not watery or chemically it’s really creamy and full of air, almost a chocolate caramel milkshake!

Protein chocolate caramel shake ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat quark (low-fat cottage cheese)
  • 120 ml soya milk
  • 1 scoop (20 gram) protein powder (caramel flavor)

Protein chocolate caramel shake instructions

Put all the ingredients in the blender or shaker bottle and mix till it’s blended and airy. Now you can drink it! Oh so lovely! If you really like this recipe you can also try the protein chocolate pancakes, they are also delicious!
